If you saw the post about how lye & oils work together to create soap, then this episode of Soap Queen will actually show you how a loaf of soap is made!

It's so true what they say about soap making...it's a wonderful combination of science and art and as you will see at the end of this video, the designs, patterns and look of soap that can be made is simply endless! At the beginning, I made so many kinds of soaps, so many shapes, colours, aromas, etc. that I really did go overboard with it, but it just facsinated me! In the above photo are some of the creations that I made in the earlier days. They DO look delectable, don't they? :) As mentioned in another article, I rarely create these any more because people just didn't want to use them because they were "too pretty" and I really want people to be able to USE the products that I make. Yes, they do make GREAT room deodorizers and look attractive as they sit in a dish on your counter, but soap is for using! ESPECIALLY quality handmade soap!

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did when I was first learning to make soap. I will admit that the process did seem a bit intimidating at first, but it was something I really wanted to do, so that made it easier!
